Neuro-occupation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Neuro-occupation is the conflate of neuroscience and the concepts of human occupations. An integral part of neuro-occupation is nonlinear brain dynamics. The concepts of chaos and complexity theory help to clarify and describe the real nature of human occupations with emphasis on the flow-pattern formation or dynamics rather than concrete forms or structures. Human occupations and their deeply embedded routines emerge as a result of the brain dynamics, which are always in a state of expectation and thus sensitive to internal and external happenings.
