The Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) is an international forum for collaboration among companies and organizations working in aerospace, defense, information technology, and other related industries. There are at the present about 80 active member companies. Examples are BAE Systems, Boeing, SAAB, Cisco Systems, EADS, IBM, Intel, Rockwell Collins and Thales.
The Consortium's goal is to promote an open set of standards and products that enable the development of capabilities and equipment in support of network centric operations, in both military and non-military settings.
The NCOIC was formed in September 2004.
