Neten Dorji

Neten Dorji currently works as a sound engineer with the Bhutan Broadcasting Service Corporation (BBS). He is regarded as Bhutan's first sound engineer. He has several music albums to his credits. Traditional (rigsar) Bhutanese music has been in a decline as rapid socio-economic development in the country has brought more expensive Western music to the fore. Dorji, who has extensive experience with traditional music, has used the modernized sound lab at BBS to record, preserve, and propagate traditional music.
he has three daughters who are also talented.
