Total Terror (1986) |
Nerve War is the first album released by the Canadian band Front Line Assembly (known as Frontline Assembly at the time). Having a limited cassette release (between 50 and 100), it remains the most sought after release from Bill Leeb and company. It has never been officially released after Front Line Assembly became more popular (supposedly the master tapes were lost), however, the mp3's have been floating around the internet since about 2002. While some speculate that the mp3's have been altered since they total 93 minutes (on a 90 minute tape), it is more likely that this is simply due to the fact that each cassette player runs at a slightly different speed, so even a small difference could add three minutes on to the end. There are also at least two different versions of Nerve War, with slightly different track listings for each. On the original tape, "People" was missing from side A, and three other tracks were added, one whose name is indistinguishable in the photo, another called "Cold As Ice," and another called "Thy Glory."
