Nerene Virgin

Nerene Virgin is a Canadian actress and television presenter, best known for her role on the children's television series Today's Special.
Virgin began her career as a teacher, working with gifted children. She soon moved into children's programming, and her role on Today's Special lasted for seven years. She worked at CTV station CFTO in Toronto as a reporter in the 1980s.
In 1996, Virgin became an anchor and reporter for CBC Newsworld in Calgary, Alberta. She then moved to the anchor chair at Newsworld International until its demise in July 2005.
