Nepali Congress (Democratic) is one of the major political party of Nepal. It is currently a major partner in the Interim Government of Nepal. It is a splinter-group of Nepali Congress Party, which split over the continuation of a state of emergency in 2002. It is led by former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
This party has extensive political organization in Nepal consisting of Working Committees in all 75 Districts of Nepal.
The trade union of NC(D) is Democratic Confederation of Nepalese Trade Unions (Decont).
