[edit] Attack of the little edit boxes
Hi. The little edit boxes are nothing to worry about. You get them because you've added sections (with ==s) into your page. Only logged in users (i.e. editors) can see them. If you want, you can disable them even for yourself by going to your preferences page and unchecking the Enable section editing via [edit] links option (but really there's no reason to do so). They come in pretty handy when editing big pages. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 17:25, 7 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Another way to solve it is to type __NOEDITSECTION__ anywhere on the page. This is used on the Main Page. It allows you to edit a section by right clicking that section, but hides the [edit] tags. Angela. 18:19, Feb 7, 2004 (UTC)
Hi Neopeius - nice to see someone else contributing to the aircraft info here!
I moved the D.510 page to Dewoitine D.510 to bring it more into line with aircraft naming conventions here. The general pattern (apart from US military aircraft) is the manufacturer name followed by the name or number the aircraft is best known by. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (aircraft)
You might like to put your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft and check out some of the discussion.
When you add a new aircraft type, you might want to also make sure it's listed on List of aircraft which, for now, is a master list of all the types written up here (and a few others as well waiting to be done). Other aircraft-related lists are:
- List of aircraft manufacturers
- List of aircraft engines
- List of aircraft engine manufacturers
- List of aircraft weapons
The List of aircraft of the Armée de l'Air, as you can see, started out only to list World War II types. All other national lists include all eras, so I thought the French one should do the same - I changed the article title, but no text yet.
The data tables are supposed to contain two columns, one for metric units, the other for Imperial. There are lots of articles to copy from - Messerschmitt Me 262 has a fairly complete example.
One question - where are you getting your images from? Are you sure that they are not copyright?

[edit] Image copyright
I (and no doubt others) would be happy if you clarified the copyright status of many of the images of aircraft you've uploaded. They look like the kind of side-view artwork used in many aviation books, rather than the kind of thing that's normally public domain. If you did them yourself or got permission, please let us know! —Morven 23:46, 18 Feb 2004 (UTC)
See here and here for some important aircraft we currently don't have. French military types include:
- Aérospatiale Alouette II/Alouette III
- Aérospatiale Super Frelon
- Aérospatiale Puma
- Aérospatiale Gazelle
- Breguet 14
- Breguet 19
- Breguet Alizé
- Breguet Atlantic/Dassault Atlantique
- Dassault Étendard/Super Étendard
- Dassault Ouragan/Mystère/Super Mystère
- Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet
- Nieuport 14 (and related types)
- Transall C.160
The most up-to-date, complete table template can be found at WikiProject Aircraft

Nice work! :) Note that there's a new version of the data table - you can find it at the main WikiProject Aircraft link above. Cheers --Rlandmann 22:09, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] MB.162 picture
Thanks for uploading Image:BLOCH_MB162.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the image and I'll try to tag it for you. Thanks so much, Phoenix-forgotten 21:13, 2005 Mar 5 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
Hello! Once again, please explain copyright status of your photos. I mean especially Image:Vg33.jpg, which seems to be some artist's work. Pibwl 17:16, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright
The following images need some tagging. I suspect some of them are too old for copyright, but it needs to be cleared up. You can contact me if you have any issues. Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 07:46, May 30, 2005 (UTC)
