[edit] Deletion

Okay, first of all, can anybody tell me why this article is subject to deletion anytime soon? I mean, has it violated any of Wikipedia's rules and regulations?

[edit] Please help

Can you get more points now, after the LDP ended? 207.179.172.217 20:50, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Hehe, Jazan was a Ruki.

[edit] The Cyodrake's Gaze

This part needs to be completely rewritten. It's... not good.

  • A little better? I rewrote most of the section. -♥ FaerieInGrey 18:49, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually, it is worse. It made plenty sense before you changed it.

[edit] Very Pooly Written

This article needs a complete rewrite. It is very poorly written and from a biased source. It also has a very poor style of writing, is too informal, is not cited, has SPAM, and requires general cleanup.

Also, "It has also been said to be false in the LiveJournal of a Neopets staff member.[1]" < The link is incorrect.

  • Thanks for the note about the link, I'm fairly new to Wikipedia and mess up the codes sometimes. ♥ FaerieInGrey 16:24, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
  • I believe that the reference is correctly formatted now? Also I removed the update tag because as of yet, it is current. As far as I know, there won't be anything to update on until the ship appears in its new location. I also removed the spam tag because I removed all links but the one to the flash comic. I don't know who originally put the others there, but I'm sorry if that upsets you. ♥ FaerieInGrey 16:29, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shenkuu, where are you?!?

You should include a link to Shenkuu!

[edit] Altador Cup

Though not an actual plot, I believe it should be merged into this section. The entry isn't ridiculously long, and it would be better to keep the page and it's information instead of it being deleted altogether. -- Miss Kass 10:52, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Agree. I hope that it is merged. ♥ FaerieInGrey 21:14, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
I think if the cup becomes a yearly event, then it shouldn't be merged; otherwise, I'm fine with a merge. -mordicai. 16:26, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

I agree with mordicai. -kcharles7:22, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plot Guide Links

I don't believe that plot guide links should be added as they are advertisements and non-encyclopedic. Opinions? ♥ FaerieInGrey 18:48, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

They are advertisements yes, but they're also encycopedic information on how the plots went down, and exactly what had to be done to complete them. It's not like the people are injecting their opinions (well, they may very well be, I've not read the sites) into these plot guides, they're simply information on what happened. - Miss Kass 12:09, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

  • I do mean the ones on peoples' petpages, not the ones on the actual Neopets site that they put up after plots. The reason I think that they're unnecessary advertisements is because for each one there are hundreds. Better to link somewhere that has many of them (I think that the link to the page of plot guides, for instance, is less objectionable) than to link to one, or to pick ten to link to which would clutter the article. --FaerieInGrey 20:29, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

I've removed links to specific plot guides several times now - I will keep doing that, but if you have an issue with it please discuss with me. Thanks! -- FaerieInGrey 10:19, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I believe according to one Wikipedia policy, cant find it (possibly RE fansites), you can include up to two guides. I'd recommend either the two most popular petpages, or possibly thedailyneopets.com. It's a fantastic idea to add those, as people should be able to complete it if they want...after all, this IS a resource for information, right?
My problem with the guides is that there are tons and tons of plot guides, and none of them especially notable on their own. There was a plot guide directory before, which I thought was a fairly objective list that advertised all of the plot guides equally, but that is now gone. -- FaerieInGrey 21:36, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

after seeing a plot guide listed for the ToW.. I added one guide and one screenies page that I thought are great and extremely helpful to the current plot... unfortunately it was deleted by someone saying it was inappropriate. I don't understand how that could be when there is already a guide posted, from the petpages of Neopets as were the ones I posted. This seems a little unfair to me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Westonwitch (talk • contribs) 21:10 UTC, November 17, 2006.

The only thing I'm seeing is that directory ([1]) that lists a ton of guides. I've deleted any individual guide I've seen listed, though I'd be glad to discuss any particular guide that should be left up for some reason? Sorry if I was the one that deleted any of the ones you put up (I'm not sure and can't tell from edit history). -- FaerieInGrey 01:40, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
