Modern goth, not affliated with modern gothic-metal and symphonic metal. As in the EBM/industrial goths. They don't like the cyber fashion but listen to bands with both gothic and ebm and industrial influences.

The term neogoth can also refer to people within the goth subculture who have no understanding of how the subculture started, or who are so ignorant and idiotic that they don't really care. If they say that Marilyn Manson started the goth subculture then you better not argue with them. They won't listen to reason, and they often claim to know more about the subculture than they actually do. Crescentia 22:27, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

It's not my neologism. It's an established term. First the music was called Neogoth. Later the term was used for the new Goth subculture.
