I'm a biology professor at a college in the northeastern US. I teach and do research on fungi. I'm especially fond of molds and ascomycetes, parasites and symbionts. I know something about mushrooms too. My user name refers to the sacred grove of hemlocks in which I make my home. I'm a girl, but I'm taken.
