Nemesis (Black&White video Game)

Nemesis is the rival in the game, Black&White.

In the first land, the player goes through a brief tutorial on moving and the creature. Then, they encounter The Guide, which is Nemesis's old creature. The guide shows the player how to fight and impress. Then, he begins to tell the secret of the creed. Nemesis then appears and kills The Guide. Nemesis then cast a storm and destroys the players first village. Then the first vortex arrives. The player is then taken to land two.

The player builds a village, and after impressing or expands enough, Nemesis returns. This time, the player's ally, Khazzar, is destroyed after Nemesis learns his creature hides a creed. He eradicates Khazzar, then sends Lethys's creature after the creed after he kills his creature. Then, Lethy's is crippled without a creature. After the player expands or impresses more, Lethys captures his creature, and enters a vortex. The player can choose to chase Lethys or destroy his temple, which creates a vortex.

After the player gets his creature back, the next objective is to fix the land. After completeing all three puzzles and retrieves the second part of the creed, the player is sent a vortex from Nemesis. The player can stay or go.

In land five, Nemesis puts a curse on the player's creature. The creature goes through three stages, first, his strength is sapped. Then, he turns the opposite allignment of the player. Finally, he begins to shrink. The player must capture three of Nemesis's villages. Each will weaken the curse. Finally, after all three are taken, the players creature is cured. The player then defends a village from Nemesis's meteor storm. After this, the player will take the hardest village in the game. After they take this, Nemesis challenges the players creature to a final fight. He creates a clone and the fight screen will begin. If the player wins, they will combine all three creeds, and destroy Nemesis.

Some speculate that Nemesis is XOALT, a unknown being thats name appears during a challenge. Or the undead god in the expansion pack, Battle of the Gods. None of these rumors were dismissed or approved by Lionhead.
