Nelson Acosta

Nelson Acosta Lopez (born 12 June 1944 in Paso de Los Toros, Uruguay) is a former Uruguayan football player. He became a nationalized Chilean in 1984 and is currently a football coach.
He managed the national team of Chile from 1996 to 2001, leading them to the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He took over Bolivia in 2004, but returned to coach Chile in 2005.
