"Little" Nell Campbell (born Laura Elizabeth Campbell, May 24, 1953) is an Australian actress, club owner and singer.

She was born in Sydney, was called "Little Nell" by her father, Ross Campbell, a writer, when he referred to her in his family life column in the Sydney Daily Telegraph. She was never called Nell at home and was called Laura E. Campbell until around 17, when she actually went by the nickname of 'Sonny' (pronounced 'saw-nee'). She decided to use the name "Little Nell" as a stage name after her arrival in Britain in the early 70's with her family. She sold clothes at the Kensington Antique Market, her stall next to Freddie Mercury's. She also worked as a busker (a street performer) and her tap dancing is often noted as the reason why she was cast as Columbia in the original "The Rocky Horror Show." She began dancing at the age of ten, after being diagnosed with Hepatitis A, to keep healthy. Her roles include The Rocky Horror Picture Show (as Columbia), Jubilee and Shock Treatment (as Nurse Ansalong). She starred in Summer of Secrets (as Kym) and Pink Floyd: The Wall (as a groupie). She has recorded six singles, including Beauty Queen, Fever, and See You 'Round like a Record. Campbell has also appeared in several stage productions, including the Off-Broadway play You Should Be So Lucky and the Broadway play NINE. She co-starred as Sandra LeMon in the British TV series Rock Follies of '77.

There have been continuous rumors of her being part of the Australian swim team in the 1972 Olympics, possibly brought on by her single “Do The Swim.” Although she swims, and learned to sail as a child, the idea of her being in the Olympics has been debunked.

In 1990, she suffered a car accident in Sydney, and ended up with a broken neck, which she didn’t know of until weeks later.

From the mid-1980s to 1998, she eventually owned three nightclubs in New York. There was Kiosk and E&O, and she sold the most famous, (which started in 1985) called Nell's, in 1998, around the time she gave birth. She has also written magazine articles, including a regular segment in Talk Magazine in 2000.

She has one daughter, Matilda Violet, born in June of 1998, with Eamon Roche, her ex-boyfriend and business partner. Campbell recently returned to Australia after selling her house in Brooklyn to actor Heath Ledger in December 2005.
