Neith Nevelson

[edit] Tone

I've added a 'tone' notice because parts of the article are not encyclopedic in style: for instance, Did the person, the sad, morose, beautiful woman stop being just that, a woman, and turned into a mythic icon?, which would be more suited to a personal essay. Wikipedia frowns on the use of "I" and "you" in articles, as in I think that many will miss out on the sheer enjoyment ..... See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Usage_and_spelling. [edit] 2007-01-01: Added "fansite" template.

Quotes like these:

  • "This is only at first glimpse for, once scrutinized carefully, one sees that each line, each dab of color, each silhouette and symmetry is perfectly balanced, almost like an ocean wave crashing chaotically into millions of water droplets before settling back into an effervescent smooth bed of sparkling azure."
  • "Her popularity, amazingly enough, continues to grow and her creativity, undiminished with time, is as inventive as ever."

make this article read like a fan review and not like something belonging in an encyclopedia. The unsourced Romero Brito quote at the end, and the claim that there's a "trend" among blogs to use her name are further evidence that this article is highly POV.

I've added the "fansite" template. -- Heath 66.32.117.111 08:45, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
