These articles should probably be linked to the RepRap project, which is in the process of creating a largely self-replicating desktop manufacturing system.

I don't see why. I haven't got the impression that Gershenfeld's work is in any sense aimed at self-replication. Plaasjaapie 05:16, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
