Neil MacKenzie (born 15 April 1976 in Birmingham) is an English footballer who plays for Scunthorpe United as a midfielder. He signed for Scunthorpe after impressing whilst on loan from Macclesfield Town, yet has found first-team opportunities limited during the 2006-07 season.

He spent two months on loan at Hereford United during the first half of the 2006-07 season. He helped to strengthen the Hereford midfield and, although he failed to get on the scoresheet, made several key contributions during his time at Edgar Street. He was due to stay with the Bulls until the New Year but was recalled to Glanford Park in mid-December.
