Neil Forrester

Neil Forrester is a British research assistant in the field of developmental disorders and language acquisition at the University of London 1. He is; however, best known as one of the castmembers of the fourth season of MTV series The Real World, The Real World: London. At that time he was a member of several underground, alternative-orientated music groups including his role as lead vocalist for a band called Unilever which had punk and performance art leanings. The band described their musical genre as "progressive arsequake", but unfortunately never achieved the elusive musical frequency that would cause the audience to lose control of their bowels.

On the series he was portrayed as a contrary, but highly intelligent individual which, at times, juxtaposed sharply against the younger American housemates.

Forrester has achieved a number of notable accomplishments since his time on the show. Among them, he was co-founder of an online currency company called Beenz.com 1. He is the patent author for a data-mining technology called Star-map.

In his current line of work he has written a variety of academic papers with such titles as "Learning the Arabic plural: the case for minority default mappings in connectionist networks." He once had a website at www.neilforrester.com 2, but it now depicts a message simply stating "There is no neilforrester.com". It offers a link to the website shardcore.org, which currently contains an extensive collection of artwork developed under his alter ego, 'Shardcore'. 3
