Negramaro

Negramaro is an Italian rock band formed in 1999 and successful since 2005. Their name stems from Negroamaro, a wine produced in their native region, Salento.
Their first hit was the single Come sempre. They took part in the Sanremo festival in 2005 in the "new suggestions" section. Then they released the top-selling album Mentre tutto scorre, including famous singles like Estate, Solo 3 minuti and Nuvole e lenzuola and currently 9th in Italian selling chart. In September 2006 they were awarded the Best Performance prize at the Festivalbar finals held in Verona.
