"Negasonic Teenage Warhead" is the second track on Monster Magnet's 1995 album, Dopes to Infinity. It was released as a single on CD and on multiple 7" vinyl formats, including a shaped picture disc 7" (cut in the shape of a post-explosion mushroom cloud). "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" became the band's first hit single, garnering heavy play on modern rock radio and MTV.
The song was later included on Monster Magnet's greatest hits album, Greatest Hits.

- An X-Men character called Negasonic Teenage Warhead, was named after this song.
- MTV's Beavis & Butt-head featured the video, which was directed by Gore Verbinski.
- The video included some of the first extreme ironing images. In the video, Monster Magnet's guitarist Ed Mundell can be seen ironing on an asteroid.
- S.F.W., a movie from 1994, features an early, 31-second longer version of the song on its soundtrack.[1]
