The Temple of Despoina at Lycosura

Nefasdicere, when not otherwise busy, is a Romanist, which is to say that he studies Greek and Roman material and literary culture. (That might be the definition of a Classicist, but most of those are really Philologists, no, actually, most of those do some form of Comparative Literature.) It is his opinion that all languages are sign systems that are inseparable from the spatial and material systems within which they operate or operated. But this is all academic.
