He is "C.F. Hanlon" in the photograph, but a different name in the article. Can someone explain the contradiction?

• "C. F." refers to Center Field, a fielding position at which Hanlon primarily played. It was not to denote the initials of one's name. Rothesay 15:31, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
