[edit] Background
Neclord is a vampire in possession of the Blue Moon Rune during the time period of Suikoden I and Suikoden II, his original hometown is unknown. He was originally a member of the Village of the Blue Moon. However, he stole the Blue Moon Rune from the village, killing a majority of the vampires, except for a few who decided to prey upon humans. Since then, Neclord has joined forces with Windy and Yuber, and together they have created wide-spread ruin. Neclord abducts young maidens, and forces them to marry him. He was bored one day, and decided to destroy Northwind killing all of its inhabitants, save for Viktor who was travelling at the time.
[edit] Suikoden I
During the Gate Rune War, Neclord had taken over a fort in Lorimar, and had made a request to the Warrior's Village to send a young girl to be his bride. Tengaar the daughter of Zorak, the village chief had been selected to be Neclord's bride. After Neclord stormed Warrior's Village, and kidnapped Tengaar, the town set out to rescue her. With the help of Viktor, and the Star Dragon Sword Neclord was defeated (although it was found out to only be a doppelganger in the next game) after which Tengaar then joined the Liberation Army.
[edit] Suikoden II
During the Dunan Unification War, Neclord appeared at Northwind again and started to abduct young women. Viktor, with the help of the Star Dragon Sword, and a vampire hunter named Kahn Marley, they successfully forced Neclord to retreat from Northwind. Neclord eventually retreated to the Tinto Republic and abducted Lilly Pendragon. Yet, with the combined efforts of Riou, Viktor, the Star Dragon Sword, and Sierra, Neclord was finally defeated, and the Blue Moon Rune returned to the possession of Sierra.
