The Nebraska Senate election of 2008 will be held on November 4, 2008. The primary election will be held on May 13, 2008.

This seat may be open if incumbent Senator Chuck Hagel chooses to run for President or otherwise declines to seek reelection. Attorney General Jon Bruning has formed an exploratory committee to raise money in case Hagel does not seek reelection.
