Neal and Jack and Me

"Neal and Jack and Me" is the first song on the 1982 King Crimson album Beat. The song at 4:25 long, is a prime example of progressive rock. It was released as a b-side to "Heartbeat", the first single and second track on the album. The "Jack" and "Neal" of the title refer to beat writer Jack Kerouac and the inspiration for one of his characters,Neal Cassady.
