Neahkahnie Mountain is a mountain on the Oregon Coast, north of Manzanita. It is rumored to have a lost treasure, hidden by Spanish sailors in the early 1700s. The name Neahkahnie is a Tillamook name for "place of the fire god" or, "home of the gods."
