The company was established in Belvidere, Illinois, U.S.A. on March, 2002, and started operation in 2003.

NDK Crystal, Inc. is a subsidiary company of Nihon Dempa Kogyo Co., Ltd. (NDK Co., Ltd.) in Tokyo, Japan.
