Talk:Navy Blue and Gold
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm suprised that no alumni have started discussion on the lyrics change. I personally know of many who were upset by it. I also know a few (male and female) who welcomed the change.
Was this a setp in the right direction, and a late move to bring The U.S. Naval Academy up to speed in women's rights? Or is it another case of political correctness and a bastardization of an almost 100 year old alma mater?Aron.foster 03:30, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] lyrics, just the tip of the iceberg
If you knew VADM Rempt, you would know it is the latter. He is trying his hardest to be the Supe who reforms the Naval Academy from their anachronistic and archaic ways and make it "better." I like and respect the man but don't like his leadership over the past 3 years.--ProdigySportsman 17:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
