Navilgone is one of the most beautiful villages of Honavar taluk. It is full of natural and scenic beauty, and has been the birth place for some of the famous people in India. There are about 300 families dwelling in the village. The main business is agriculture and major crops are arecanut, coconut, paddy and cashew nuts.
