Navegacion y Servicios Aéreos Canarios (NAYSA)

Navegacion y Servicios Aéreos Canarios (NAYSA) is an airline based in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain. It operates scheduled and charter flights, as well as cargo flights, air taxis and ambulance flights. Its main base is Gran Canaria International Airport. [1]

The airline was established and started operations on 7 May 1969 at Córdoba as NAYSA (Navegacion y Servicios Aereos) and added Canarias to the title when operations in the Canary Islands were started in 1973. The company changed owners in 1977 and transferred its headquarters to Las Palmas. [1]

NAYSA has six new ATR 72-500 on order. The six aircraft will be delivered between 2007 and 2009. [4] [5]
