Naveed Fiaz is a man from Beeston, Leeds arrested in the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

[edit] Alleged involvement in London bombings

Early reports described his brother Ejaz "Jacksy" Fiaz as the suspected suicide bomber on the Piccadilly Line train, which is now attributed to Jamal Lindsay.

Since Ejaz Fiaz is nowhere to be found, police have questioned his brother, Naveed. (Sources differ on whether Naveed is also known as Nadim or whether that is another name for Jacksy Fiaz.)

Naveed Fiaz is known to have frequented the Hamara Youth Access Point, a centre of activity for three of the suicide bombers: Mohammed Sadique Khan, Shehzad Tanweer, and Hasib Hussain. He also worked at the Iqra bookshop there, which has allegedly distributed extremist literature and videos. Although he has been in police custody since shortly after the bombings, no charges have been announced. British law normally would have required a release on 19 July, but a judge extended this to 23 July. [1]
