  1. Find a freely liscensed image to be used in the banners and userboxes.
  2. Create a Banner for articles in the scope of the project.
  3. Created userbox(es) for paricipants and Steely Dan fans.
  4. Compile a list of articles in the scope of this WikiProject.

  1. Add the banner to all articles in the project's scope.
  2. Create a Steely Dan navigation template.
  3. Add infoboxes to all album and song articles that currently exist.
  4. Create the remaining song articles.

[edit] The Search For a Free Image

Right now, all images on Wikipedia that have to do with Steely Dan are unfree. However, it would be nice to have at least one free image, for use on userboxes and banners for this project. The search is on. Try browsing flickr or other sites for a free shot of them (taken by the uploader) or maybe a spin-off of Two Against Nature (two shadows on a dirt path).

The banner is currently being worked on. It's location will be {{WPSteely}} when the WikiProject is formed. Right now, the most important thing it needs is a picture. Here is how it currently looks:
