No, evolutionary epistemology should not be merged with natural epistemology. The a priori assumption crucial to natural is not always considered vital in evolutionary epistemology. Evolutionary epistemology deserves its own explanation, and is more than just applying the concepts of biological evolution to the growth of human knowledge.
