[edit] Mikhail Domontovich
I wrote this in the article on Alexandra Kollontai (See also Talk:Alexandra Kollontai):
“ | Kollantai was born in St. Petersburg to Mikhail Domontovich, a general in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878 and the head of the chancellery of the Russian administration in Bulgaria from 1878-1879, and Alexandra Masalin-Mravinsky, the daughter of a wealthy Finnish timber merchant. | ” |
In her memoirs Kollontai claims that:
- His father, Mikhail Domontovich was instrumental in creating the Bulgarian constitution.
- The constitution, considered to be too liberal by the tsar, was influenced by the Finnish constitution.
