Talk:National-Bolshevik Party
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
How does this party differ from the current Communist Party of Russia.
for starters the CP isn't banned.
And NBP, inspite of its name, in not really a left-wing party. It is an ultra-nationalist party, somewhat similar to NSDAP.
National Socialists don't fall into left or right categories. Its as much left wing as it is right wing.
I'd just state that CPRF represents ideals similar to National Bolshevik party, but the first is just 'milder', probably due to the fact that the support base of 'official' Communist Party (CPRF) used to be quite broad during the 1990s. NBP has always consisted of ultranationalist/neo-Stalinist fanatics exclusively, and has earned itself notorious reputation for often engaging in acts similar to pre-1933 SA. It is worth mentioning that Russian communism (after the collapse of Soviet empire) has become very different from its Western counterpart. The Western communists have adopted many libertarian tendencies (i.e pro-abortion, gay rightist, ecologist, anti-nationalist, anti-racist etc), its Russian counterpart has developed socially conservative: it advocates 'Strong state', empire (Russian word 'Derzhava'), is fiercly nationalist, some extreme Russian communists (from smaller Communist parties) have anti-semitist tendencies etc. Constanz

[edit] Future of the party?
I'm actually pulling for this party. What harm could come of it?

[edit] Eurasia
At least judging by the materials on their website, the "Eurasia" concept is no longer part of their official doctrine or programme. It seems to have been faded out after Dugin left. Can anyone clarify what is the current status of it?
[edit] Flag
The flag is discribed as a combination of Nazi and Soviet symbolisim, so does anyone know how such extremest right wing symbolisim plays into this (pseudo)communist party?
This party is obviously nationalist but does that alone make it neo-fascist? I've seen lots of stuff to suggest they like Stalin but nothing to suggest they like Hitler.
- Good point. Though I'd caught all the grossly POV stuff, but I missed the flag. The article needs sourcing and a lot more info, if you have time to contribute. Dsol 22:41, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
- No, the image used in the article is indeed the official flag of the NBP. I have seen it multiple times on Russian television, namely on the news program of the Russian channel "NTV Mir", when they were covering demonstrations organized by NBP members. The flag is not a POV issue. Here's the source: [1]. --Vargher 14:45, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- The flag wasn't exactly the POV issue before, but rather the former caption on it, which claimed it "combined Nazi and Soviet symbolism." Dsol 15:11, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it does. It obviously is derived from the flag of the nazi party, I don't think that's POV. -- 138.246.7.40 21:34, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's very POV. Saying red backgrounds and white circles are Nazi symbols is a strech.

[edit] Alexei Tsetkov as editor of Limonka
i initially got this info from private (reliable) email, but it's the sort of fact that should be easily verifiable by someone fluent in Russian. The online source i found was: http://www.vavilon.ru/lit/feb98-1.html i won't cite the whole paragraph but this is the relevant bit:
- Цветков является ответственным секретарем газеты "Лимонка"
translated roughly
- Tsetkov is the executive secretary of the newspaper "limonka"
IMHO there is no obvious doubt about this claimed fact, that he was the editor for at least some time of Limonka. Boud 01:05, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Nation! Motherland! Socialism!
I do not know the English language, I hope, the program will transfer{translate} my text correctly.
NBP nationalist party, but not a chauvinistic party{set}. She{it} professes, some kind of the Soviet nationalism. In Russia after disorder of great and humane power USSR the nazi organizations which are antiSemitic have appeared many, racist and badly concern to national minorities of Russia. And for NBP Russian is anyone who loves Russia, Russian, culture, the patriot of the Soviet Russia. We have branch in Israel.
I concern to national minorities - I the Tatar, but I know only Russian, I think myself Soviet on a nationality. If sometime there will be a question on branch of Tatarstan from Russia (I do not believe in it, Russian and Tatar are very amicable) I am ready to protect integrity Great Derzhava.
Why I in NBP? I want validity social and national. I starve? No, but I think not only of myself. Unfortunately egoism became very fashionable in Russia within barbarous 90th years. The ambassador destruction of the USSR almost in all former Soviet republics people die out. In Russia die out on 700000 person. In the USSR there were no drugs, there was no problem with formation{education}.
Soviet people in 80th years complained of slow granting of habitation. To our family his{its} distances in 7 years of work of the father on construction by the driver of the lorry, it{he} carried high-altitude cranes. Paid the usual salary, but besides it then allowed free-of-charge habitation. People thought, that it for a long time and in general is unfair. But anybody also could not think, that time (after 91 years) when nobody can afford habitation, except for very much provided people will come. People save for habitation for 10-15 years, and then them can deceive in the market of habitation. The credit to receive it not possible almost and if and to turn out the person is compelled to pay it{him} for 30 years. It can is normal for Europe and America, but for us such long debts it is worse than slavery, we feel like enslaved, we do not want be to someone should. Has paid once - it is free. For us it is better to save up and buy, than to be the debtor. Moreover, nobody repairs usual houses. Pipes decay, electric transformer substations burn down. As early as some years also will begin large technical accidents. It in Moscow. And across other Russia all is MUCH WORSE!
Disorder of the USSR has not given us freedom, it{he} at us has selected her{it}. Freedom to work, study, to not be afraid for tomorrow's day. To old men the worthy old age was guaranteed.
But it not the main thing, at us have selected our country. The majority is hated with the new fine princedoms. From Russia the most successful dream to leave. We love Soviet Union, but we hate the Russian Federation. Nobody wants to serve in army. In the USSR all wanted to become soldiers, to serve 2 years. It was prestigious and did not prevent to arrange a life then. Two years in Red Army have not been lost. The army of the Russian Federation is a network of concentration camps where people beat and kill. People had an opinion, that there there are only idiots or that to whom has not carried also they could not bribe.
The unique fair state in the former USSR is Belarus. In Russia and Ukraine the president of this of the new state is very popular. It{him} at us name « the President of the unique independent state in Europe ». Do not trust lies about Lukashenko. It{he} not the dictator. Certainly from a point sight of Europe and America it{he} the dictator. But we hate the USA and are surprised with destruction of the present{true} European culture by fast food and Hollywood. It{he} not against Russian (as Ющенко in Ukraine), it{he} not against Russia, it{he} does not want a message the country in the vile European Union, it{he} does not conduct the country in the NATO which is created against the USSR, it{he} does not fill in city of the country vile fast food. At Byelorussia the strongest army in the East Europe and there young people want to serve. In Russia dream, that Lukashenko became the chapter{head} of Russia and people could restore the USSR.
The sanction of the USSR has given freedom not to Soviet people, and that who was afraid of it{him}.
But we shall return to ourselves the country and we shall arrange expedition to Mars.;-) For us still very much much means astronautics. In the USSR the scientific and technical fantasy was popular. But also the astronautics is destroyed. You, the countries of the West, exhaust us in a corner, we shall revolt as in 1917 and again we become the most educated, clever, strong and influential in the world. We as against the USA never bore{carried} "democracy" in hatches of bombers. Ask in Afghanistan who allowed products and gasoline who built houses, air stations and roads. The answer will be the soldier of the USSR. Ask who the murderer, the uncivilized barbarian with the BigMak in a stomach. The answer will be the soldier the USA.
Russia - everything, the rest - anything! Our Motherland - the USSR!
NBP! People! Order!
Nation! Motherland! Socialism!
Yes, Death!
- You say you like Lukashenko but Liminov is against him.
- Good bless you all,we all remember support that Lemanov gave to us is Bosnia war,and Serbian people:will always have respect for him.I remember when he shot at Sarajevo, those were proud moments.

[edit] NBP website
Upon visiting the NBP website, as supposed to the news page I was greeted by a full page Soviet/Neo-Nazi propoganda mural and the Soviet national anthem. Does anyone have any information on this abrupt loss of content?

National Bolshevik Party Is Ordered to Disband
By Nabi Abdullaev Staff Writer The Moscow regional court ordered on Wednesday that the National Bolshevik Party be disbanded, a ruling that the ultranationalist movement vowed to ignore.
The court upheld a complaint by the Moscow region prosecutor's office, which cited several of the organization's documents and the fact that dozens of its members have been arrested and convicted on various charges in recent years as evidence that the group was extremist.
[edit] NBP
National-Bolshevism does not concern fascism and nazism. The photo certainly for clause{article} picked up old when in a party{set} was glamour goes in style the football hooligan. After in 1998 from a party{set} Dugin such has left much less. Translate clause{article} from Russian, there is more and more more neutral.
If I was not a member of a party{set} having read about fascism and another I would think " it{he} terrible Russian fascism, their purpose of all to kill ". It is ridiculous, in Russia members NBP put{plant} in prison and organize attacks. Thus the program of a party{set} in the speeches Putin, and as uses democratic parties oppositional to Putin. Simply in NBP many fair people... Which are ready to take the weapon in hands for the best the future, for socialism. It срашно... Him{it} it is terrible at all оружее (we not insurgents), but the real protest (capture of buildings, overlapping{blocking} of roads) enters authority in a condition of a panic.

Mention of Nashi as anti-fascist is absurd. I'm removing it.
[edit] Contradiction
In ths article, it says both that the Supreme Court overturned a ban by lower court, and that it upheld the ban. I am confused. someone please look at that.Themalau 09:52, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
