Natsu Ayuhara (鮎原夏, Ayuhara Natsu^?) is a video game character from the Rival Schools series by Capcom. As of Project Justice, she is a second-year student at Gorin High School, and is a star player on the school's volleyball team.

Natsu is a star player for the volleyball club and coaches the junior high students. The male students at Gorin fear her because of her strength, height, and tomboyish appearance. For these same reasons, she is admired by her juniors and other younger female students.

An attack from Justice High elements injures some of her juniors. In order to investigate, Natsu joins Shoma and Roberto. However, she found herself arguing with Shoma more than accomplishing anything.Consequently, Shoma is kidnapped by Justice High. Natsu and Roberto, along with Nagare, come to his rescue.

New student Momo causes a stir in Gorin High by getting herself involved in the already shaky Natsu-Shoma friendship. This results in Shoma leaving Gorin. It was later revealed that Shoma was being used by the Darkside Student Congress to stir up trouble in Gorin and Taiyo high schools. Upon realizing this, Shoma has a change of heart and joins Natsu, Roberto, and Nagare to take on the DSC.

She is childhood friends with Hinata Wakaba and Sakura Kasugano.
Her name "Natsu" is Japanese for summer, coincidentally being the season when volleyball is most often played. Also, summer is, in popular meaning, associated to youth and vitality.
Her surname "Ayuhara" is a tribute to Kozue Ayuhara, the main character of the volleyball centered manga Attack No. 1.
Throughout the games, it is heavily hinted she has a secret crush on Shoma Sawamura (who in turn, has a crush on her). [1]
In the Street Fighter Legends: Sakura comics, Natsu is a big fan of "Rainbow" Mika Nakakawa, along with Sakura and Hinata. In fact, she was jealous of Sakura when she saw the pictures Kei took of the both of them.
