Native plant

A Native plant is one that occurred naturally has existed for many years in an area. These plants can be trees, flowers, grasses or any other plant.
Frequently these plants are adapted to a very limited range and they have adjust to living in very harsh conditions. Some types of plants in this group only exist in a very limited range.
In other cases, native plants a part of a cooperative environment where several species or conditions have developed to support them. This could be a case where a plant exists because a certain animal pollinates the plan and that animal exists because of they rely on the pollen as their food source. It may be that the plant relies on natural conditions, like a wild fire, to release seeds and provide a furtile environment for the seedling to become established.
