The National Police Memorial is a marble and glass memorial unveiled on April 26, 2005 by Queen Elizabeth. The erection of the memorial was organised by the Police Memorial Trust. It is located opposite the northeast corner of London's St. James's Park, where The Mall meets Horse Guards Road.

The "The National Police Memorial" is in two parts. A blue glass pillar, internally illuminated from below with a blue light, symbolises the police force. Nearby is a large block, clad in black stone. This includes a glass window, behind which a book records the names of nearly 1,600 police officers "unlawfully killed while in the execution of their duty, or in the course of effecting an arrest or the performance of acts of gallantry or other hazardous duty".

The Monument was designed by Sir Norman Foster.
