National Optical Astronomy Observatory

The United States National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) consists of four observatories under one management structure:
- Kitt Peak National Observatory
- Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory
- Gemini Observatory
- National Solar Observatory
It is run by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), with a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF). NOAO has its headquarters in Tucson, AZ.
