National Library of Serbia (Serbian: Народна библиотека Србије/Narodna biblioteka Srbije) is situated in the city of Belgrade (Vracar municipality). In 1941 bombing of Belgrade by Nazi Germany saw the destruction of more than one million books. The National Library is now located next to the Temple of Saint Sava.
