National Institute of Circus Arts

The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) was founded in 1995 and is associated with Swinburne University of Technology, in Melbourne, Victoria Australia.
It offers a TAFE and degree programs, from Prahran in Melbourne. As well as a range of short courses and holiday programs, from Prahran and also Ringwood Secondary College, in the outer east of Melbourne.
Graduates from NICA have gone on to work in a range of international and national circus companies, including Circus Oz and Cirque du Soleil.
It is a member of the "Australian Roundtable for Arts Training Excellence".
