Opened in 1991 the Fishing Heritage Centre depicts the 1950s hey day of the distant waters fleet. The centre also hosts a programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
During the summer season visitors can take part in a tour of the Ross Tiger trawler. Access not available to the under fives. Due to vertical ladders and high sills those with mobility problems may find access difficult.
The Centre is open November to March Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm Saturday & Sunday 11 am to 3 pm April to October Monday to Friday 10 am to 5 pm Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 1030 am to 530 pm
