National Division Two

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

National Division Two is the third level of domestic Rugby Union competition in England. This league includes both amateur and semi-professional clubs, however they generally benefit from good investment and playing infrastructures. National Two is made up of fourteen teams from around England who play home and away matches throughout a winter season. Promotion and relegation decide the makeup of the league each season, with the two highest placed teams moving into National Division One, and the bottom three teams being relegated into either National Division Three North or National Division Three South.
