The National Council for Voluntary Organisatons (NCVO) is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England. NCVO works to support the voluntary sector and to create an environment in which voluntary organisations can flourish.

The equivalent infrastructure body for voluntary organisations in Wales is WCVA, and in Scotland is SCVO, the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations. In Northern Ireland it is NICVA.
