National Anti-Vivisection Society

The National Anti-Vivisection Society is an anti-vivisection group founded in 1875, and has campaigned for the abolition of experiments on animals for over 100 years.
NAVs have received the support of major public figures from Queen Victoria and Lord Shaftesbury in the early days[citation needed], to Members of Parliament and celebrity supporters in more modern times.[citation needed]
The Chief Executive of NAVS is Jan Creamer.
