National Amusements

National Amusements, Inc. operates more than 1,500 movie screens in the U.S., U.K., Latin America and Russia under its Showcase Cinemas, Multiplex Cinemas, Cinema de Lux and KinoStar. It also controls the former Paramount theaters that were disbanded in the 1948 Paramount decision.
Based in Dedham, Massachusetts, the company, owned by Sumner Redstone, is the vehicle through which Redstone is a majority shareholder of Viacom, CBS Corporation, and Midway Games. National Amusements is also an equal partner in online ticketing service MovieTickets.com.
