The National Advertising Review Council (NARC) is an organization based in New York US that provides self-regulatory services to the American advertising industry. It was set up in 1971 by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA), and the American Advertising Federation (AAF) with the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB). These founding organizations have representatives on NARC's board of directors, although it claims to be independent.
