Nathan Morley

Nathan Morley is a well-known English radio and television presenter based in Cyprus.

He was born in Grimsby, England in 1974, but spent most of his life in Germany.

He has presented a daily program since 1995 on Radio Napa. He was the host of a short lived program on the Greek channel Super Sport in the late 1990's which was transmitted in Southern Cyprus, he also broadcast a weekly show on Radio One, a Nicosia based station. His voice is also heard on many English-language commercials on private radio stations in Cyprus and Greece.

In addition to radio, he is a national television presenter with Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation known in Cyprus as PIK. He reports for the German television and radio network Deutsche Welle and DWTV. He has recently been seen presenting features and programmes for Home and Travel TV on Sky Digital in the United Kingdom.

He also works as a reporter for The Voice of America ,Vatican Radio and ORF Radio Austria. During the 2003 US invasion of Iraq he was a presenter with the USA Radio Network, co-hosting and reporting for all of the networks news programs. He has also been heard reporting for the network radio division of CBS News.

In 2003 he appeared in many national newspapers after describing Cherie Blair's singing ability as "appalling". Nathan Morley is also a regular voice on LBC radio in London, where he joins Steve Allen on Wednesday mornings, he is also reports for other LBC programmes. Morley writes a monthly column in the Famagusta Gazette newspaper.

He held a stunt radio prayer session with the psychic Uri Geller, but the effort failed to help England win the World Cup in 2002. "Listeners are supposed to touch the radio as Uri talks and say 'Win, England win' and channel all that positive energy to Japan", Nathan Morley told Reuters, in 2002.

He broadcasts a weekly slot on BBC Radio Berkshire called "Euro News", from the BBC studios in Cyprus. Nathan Morley is the son -in law of the ex-Finland goal keeper Lars Nasman and grandson of Grimsby Town supporters chairman Bernard Morley.

He was awarded the 2001 New York Festivals Silver World medal for broadcasting. According to the 2002 book Who's Who in British Radio (ISBN 1-900401-04-5), he was a presenter on the Voice of Peace radio station in Israel during 1993. This is confirmed in Keith Skues 1993 book Pop Went The Pirates.

It has been reported that he is a recluse and avoids gatherings and public events.
