Nathan Handwerker (b. June 14, 1891/1892 in Poland - died 1974) was a Polish-American entrepreneur.

Handwerker immigrated from Belgium and came to the USA in 1912. There he opened a nickel hot dog stand on Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York in 1916. This fast food chain developed into Nathan's Famous.
