Nathan Griffin was the "winner" of the NBC TV show Average Joe: The Joes Strike Back. Nathan, one of the "Average Joes", had been previously sent home by Anna Chudoba, the woman who was basically the star of the show, who had to select from a group of handsome suitors or Average Joes. Nathan, a former Air Force missile technician, was given a complete makeover and returned to the show for a second chance. Anna chose him over Rocky Fain, a model and actor.
