Nathalia is a small town located within the Moira Shire Local government area in northern Victoria, Australia on the banks of Broken Creek. At the 2001 census, Nathalia had a population of 1,414.[1]
The main industries in Nathalia are dairy farming, cropping and grazing.
Nathalia has both a government high school [2] and primary school as well as a regional Catholic college and a Catholic primary school.
The town is also well known for quality sporting facilities for its size. Notable sporting clubs in Nathalia include Nathalia Football Club.
The annual agricultural show is held on the first Saturday in October. A New Year's Eve carnival is held every year.
